SHIFT (Students Heading into Full-Time) Program Day

SHIFT (Students Heading into Full-Time) is Ryerson University's FREE transition program for students with disabilities. The program is specifically designed for first-year students with a documented disability (such as, an LD, ADHD, mental health impacts, physical, sensory, and/ or medical disability) entering into any post-secondary institution in Ontario.

During SHIFT, incoming students learn about the accommodation process at Ryerson, take the first step in getting registered with Academic Accommodation Support (AAS), and plan for a strong transition to university. SHIFT will be offered as a one-day program (9:00 am-4:00 pm).

Essential Skills Upgrading Information Session - (TDSB) Queensway

This session provides participants with information regarding the upgrading programs offered by TDSB through Essential Skills Upgrading (ESU) which is an outcomes-based, goal-oriented approach to education. Participants in ESU will acquire the skills necessary to move on to further education, apprenticeship programs and employment. After the information session, interested clients can remain for assessment and registration.
